Involvement in Genomics

The Human Genome Project grew as a collaboration among human geneticists, molecular biologists, mathematicians, and computer scientists.

Many of the leaders in genomics were the pioneers of recombinant DNA technology and gene mapping while others were drawn to the field through its sheer potentiality to elucidate human biology and fight disease.
